REPORT of the DIRECTOR OF COLONIAL AUDIT on the Account

of the Treasurer of the Colony of Hong Kong for the year

ended the 31st of December, 1914.

As certified thereon, the above mentioned Account,

together with the Statement of Assets and Liabilities on

the 31st of December, 1914 has been examined under my

directions.

2. Any questions which have arisen in the course

of examination have been satisfactorily settled, as far

as possible, as also have the outstanding questions in

connection with the account of the previous year, but a

few questions of minor importance are still outstanding.

3. I have not yet been furnished with the authority of the Secretary of State for defraying the excesses which occurred on certain sub-heads of expenditure out of savings

on other sub-heads of the same heads.
